Welcome 2016 (& our first Blog post)!!! First time Dave and I are spending the holiday at the beach. Found a great place to ring in the New Year - TRiO Restaurant in Kitty Hawk. Wasn’t quite sure what to make of it at first, but ended up really having a great time! TRiO is part wine/beer/cheese shop, part bar/ restaurant. They have “wine dispensers” where you can sample different wines. You give the server your credit card and he gives you a wine card that keeps track of your tab. The dispensers provide a choice of 24 different wines to sample. We sat at a table on the ground floor, but there's also lots of comfortable seating upstairs. The tapas and light fare did not disappoint!
